See our diagram on p 65. If you are the Petitioner, the court serves a copy of your petition and Statement of Arrangements for Children on your spouse. They now have seven days – starting from the day after the petition drops on their doormat – to respond. If you have filed an adultery petition and there is a Corespondent, they get a copy of the petition too.
