ABSTRACT

The two authors of this book see eye to eye about most things, but they could not agree about strategies for selecting a tenant. Mark is a hard-headed property lawyer, but has never rented out property himself. He favours an objective approach, drawing up a list of headings and awarding points for each one. So a prospective tenant might rate five points for having a steady job and another five for having good references, but lose two points for being a smoker—and so on.
