ABSTRACT
There are many different types of civil case, including claims in tort and breach of contract, disputes over wills, and family matters such as divorce. The two main courts hearing civil cases are the county court and the High Court. In addition, the magistrates’ court has a small civil jurisdiction, eg granting an order of judicial separation for a married couple.
