ABSTRACT
Although the internal market is built around economic law, it goes further than that. Opening markets to each other has meant opening countries, and so it has had effects on the way people live in Europe. The most obvious and positive effect may be increased prosperity; just what it was designed to achieve. However, there are also other issues that have been raised.
