The liquidation will be deemed to have commenced at the time of presentation of the petition unless the company was already in voluntary liquidation in which case the commencement of the liquidation will be the date of the resolution for voluntary liquidation.76 The registrar of companies77 and the Official Receiver78 must be notified forthwith.
