ABSTRACT
The courts will have jurisdiction if the partnership has a principal place of business in England and Wales or if the debt on which the petition is based arises from business carried on by the insolvent partnership within the three years before presentation of the petition at a place of business within England and Wales, even if that is not the principal place of the partnership’s business.10
