ABSTRACT
The conduct of the insolvencies and the rules as to priority of expenses and debts will be as apply under Art 8 of the Insolvent Partnerships Order 1994, explained above. The court may issue a certificate for summary administration if the total of the partnership debts and the separate debts of the member is less than £20,000 and the member concerned has neither been adjudged bankrupt nor made a composition with creditors in satisfaction of his or her debts nor a scheme of arrangement of his or her affairs within the five years before the presentation of the joint petition.
