ABSTRACT
In Re Highway Foods International Ltd,61 the court had to consider the effect of a sale of meat on retention of title terms followed by a sub-sale also on retention of title terms. It was held that the sub-sale did not divest the original owner of title to the meat until the sub-purchaser either paid the purchaser or processed the meat.
