ABSTRACT
Evidence need not be filed either with the claim form or with the acknowledgment of service (PD 56, para 5.6). The claim is automatically allocated to the multitrack and the court will fix a date for a hearing when it issues the claim form (PD 56, para 5.3). The first hearing will normally be a directions hearing. If the court intends to certify that an improvement is a proper improvement or has been duly executed, it shall do so by way of an order (PD 56, para 5.7).
