ABSTRACT
Common sense suggests that, in some cases, the alleged victims of an accident have only themselves to blame, or they are at least partly responsible for their own loss. It might seem that this should already have been considered in relation to ‘intervening acts’ but the law does in fact make specific provision for such issues.
