ABSTRACT
A document drafted by the Secretariat of the World Campaign and of the UBUNTU Forum with the special collaboration of Aldo Caliari and John Foster, on the occasion of the seminar entitled Future Scenarios for the Reform of the System of International Institutions. The event was held in the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona on 12 and 13 March 2004 in the framework of the World Campaign for In-depth Reform of the System of International Institutions and the World Governance Programme. The book that emerged from that seminar served as a basic precedent for the Conference on Reform of the United Nations and other International Institutions that was held on 23 and 24 September that year in Universal Forum of Cultures Barcelona 2004.
