ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at environmental issues from the perspective of the organization. It aims to help the environmental professional understand how the concern in society about environmental issues is changing the context in which organizations operate, and forcing them to respond. It considers the tools needed to help an organization understand its position in relation to environmental issues, and the range of responses that needs to be considered.
