ABSTRACT
One million years ago the human population was probably less than half a million individuals, easily allowing nature to supply its needs in energy and food. When scarceness threatened, populations moved to other regions and, generally speaking, there was no concern about environment support capacity, that is, the natural conditions for resources regeneration.
