ABSTRACT
This chapter is about how we can reduce our greenhouse gas emissions from travelling. According to the ONS environmental accounts private transport by car accounted for about 69MtCO2, public transport a further 9.5MtCO2 and emissions from flying 39MtCO2, in 2004.
