ABSTRACT
Imagine a complete power plant that’s small enough to electrify a rural home or large enough to electrify an entire community. Imagine a power plant that not only generates electricity for your home but, if connected to the power line, actually ‘turns the meter backward’, making you not only a producer of electricity from your own power plant, but also a seller of electricity to your utility. Imagine that the technologies that operate these power plants will never run out of fuel as long as the Sun is shining, will not pollute or cause climate change, and will not require you to look beyond your rooftop or backyard to set them up and plug them into their power source – the Sun!
