ABSTRACT
The conceivable forms of conflict driven by climate change can be grouped into typical constellations. Their characteristic configurations have the potential to emerge in various regions of the world. WBGU defines conflict constellations as causal linkages at the interface between the environment and society, which interact dynamically and are capable of inducing social destabilization or violence.
