Boardsports include snowboarding, surfing, sailboarding, kiteboarding,

skateboarding, and wakeboarding. Snowboarding is fully integrated into the

commercial snow tourism industry and is now of comparable size to the

skiing sector. Surfing includes not only a large individual outdoor recreation

component but also a range of commercial tour products. There are as yet far

fewer commercial tour products involving other boardsports.
