ABSTRACT
Every number we measure or estimate is uncertain. In this chapter, we describe various sources of uncertainty and the implications for a life cycle assessment (LCA). We also suggest means by which users of the EIO-LCA model can reduce errors. Appendix IV contains examples and additional information on formal uncertainty analysis.
