ABSTRACT

Most corporate leaders promulgate the need for their business to act with integrity. Much of this, however, is compliance driven and can often be a ‘box ticking’ exercise. There is a need to go further and the challenge for leaders is to ensure that an integrity-led ethos is proactively embodied in their company for the delivery of superior business results. For management, operating with heightened integrity has the attendant benefit of spending less time and fewer resources on checking that compliance matters are being fulfilled, with resultant increases in productivity and thereby contributing to improved business performance.
