ABSTRACT
Table 6.1 shows selected details from Preliminary Reference Earth Model (PREM; Dziewonski and Anderson 1981). Although later work indicated departures from the model in some details (as shown in Table 6.2) this model remains the most widely used reference for Earth structure.
