Monsoonal variability of phytoplankton in a tide dominated river of Sundarban

A study has been carried out to understand the dynamics in monsoonal variation pattern of phytoplankton cell count with different physicochemical parameters with the help of a simple empirical model that has been developed over a tide dominated river, Jagaddal in the Sundarbans Estuarine System or SES (West Bengal, India). Real time data were also collected from the river during monsoon (July, 2015) which has been used in the model.
