ABSTRACT

Electric dehydration is one of the most common technologies of crude oil dehydration process, and is widely used in oilfield with its high eciency and economy (Feng & Guo 2006). In the mid-late period of crude oil exploration, the quality of crude oil becomes more and more heavy and poor. High contents of organic impurities, water and salts caused many problems during dehydration process, such as instability of electric field, large dehydration current and poor separation eect (Jia et al. 2010). These issues aect the eciency and stability of dehydration operation in the oilfield.
