ABSTRACT
Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are a diverse group of rare neoplasms that share certain biological and clinical features and can arise from different neuroendocrine cells throughout the body. This chapter focuses on metastatic NETs arising from the gut and pancreas (gastroenteropancreatic NETs [GEP-NETs]).
