ABSTRACT

Up to date, no literature has addressed the relativity of radar images. In this view, this chapter delivers a novel explanation of radar imagine mechanism based on the relativity theory. A simple definition of relativity which is a function of the space-time theory is described here. To this end, the relativistic of radar Doppler is addressed. In fact, the Doppler shift frequency is a vital example of relativity theory. The chapter also explains the specular reflection of a photon from oil-covered water from the point view of relativity theories. The chapter shows too how the time dilation involves with radar images. This chapter answers the significant question of whether SAR polarization causes Length Contraction? In conclusion, the relativity theories can be proven with radar imaging techniques.
