ABSTRACT
N ovice professionals have graduated from their professional training. The transition to independent practice, without the safety nets provided by graduate programs and mandatory supervision, is an important milestone marker in this phase. This sense of being on one’s own comes with both “good news” and “bad news” sentiments.
