The methodology used in this study was a qualitative method with a descriptive design. The cultural values expressed in the ancient Sundanese manuscripts of the Mandala period are based on five categories, namely the role of cultural values in the relationship between human and God, human and nature, human and society. human and the other human, and human and himself. In fact, one category is interrelated with another. However, it has been claimed that the categorization of these cultural values is artificial and intentionally made.
