ABSTRACT

D2D communication will play important role in 5G network. It ensures high quality of service by providing licensed band communication between devices in close proximity. Its capability to deliver ultra-low latency communication and high reliability makes it most demanding technology for 5G. The main research challenges for D2D are feasibility study of service discovery protocols, resource allocation technique and interference management technique. This paper is focused on a precise comparative study of these research challenges. We have reported proactive and reactive protocol for service discovery.
