ABSTRACT
This paper proposes discussing how the application of climate-specific construction technologies contributed to the definition of valuable energy-aware examples of Modern architecture. The technical features of three projects by Ralph Erskine are investigated to highlight the qualities deriving from the critical implementation of building technology for a regional interpretation of the principles of Modern design.
