ABSTRACT

Nowadays, the only motivation for an employee to work efficiently is not salary. Modern companies are increasingly deciding to implement employee bonus systems. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for these systems to not be transparent and easy for employees to interpret, which can be one source of conflict. The complexity and diversity of bonus systems in companies has become a topic of research undertaken by the Student Research Group “Management”. The first step for the project team implementing the study was to review the literature and other similar studies. An original survey was then created and distributed to potential respondents.

Through the results of the survey, the project team was able to determine the effectiveness and often fairness of these employee bonus systems.
