ABSTRACT

In many ways, the COVID-19 pandemic had a tremendous impact on society. Mental health is one of these effects. The aim of this study was to assess mental health in three main areas: depression, anxiety, and fear. This research was carried out quantitatively using an online Google form questionnaire and a cross-sectional sample. The questionnaire was open to the public from March 26, 2020 to April 3, 2020. A total of 3136 people responded to the survey during that time period. The findings revealed that depression, anxiety, and fear levels were under control. However, a small percentage of respondents in this study indicated having severe depression, anxiety, or fear. The effects of a prolonged COVID-19 pandemic on the community's mental resilience are also discussed in this report.
