ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an overview of the main types of stitching used on a sewing machine. The authors recommend that the reader checks the ISO norm [1] for accurate and detailed information on stitch types. The goal of this chapter is to provide the necessary information for understanding the subsequent chapters and examples of the most common stitch types.
