ABSTRACT
On the base of general theory on bio ecological territorial systems, the article analyzed urban planning, resource, infrastructural and environmental problems cities, on the example of development modern Nur-Sultan and other cities of Kazakhstan. It known that the greening of the entire socio-economic system of any state is the basis for successfully solving environmental problems and preventing environmental disasters. Environmental security, as an integral part of national security, is a prerequisite for sustainable development and serves as the basis for preserving natural systems and maintaining the appropriate quality of the environment. The environmental consequences of industrial development of cities are air pollution, chemical contamination of soils, surface fresh water and fish stocks in reservoirs, and an increase in the level of morbidity of the population.
