ABSTRACT
The object is the soil of the ocean floor. The goal is to predict the resistance of the underwater vehicle’s soil base. Tools - laboratory methods for studying the physical and mechanical properties of soils, physical modeling of the work of the soil base, statistical processing of measurement results. The approach is verification of the viscous fluid model. The main results are experimental values of physical, strength and rheological parameters of the bottom soil, mathematical description of the experimental results, normative values of the strength of the ocean soil.
