ABSTRACT

The temperature and moisture at the points of a highway pavement and subgrade were measured by means of a special measurement system. By analyzing the results obtained, the peculiarities of temperature and moisture changes at different depths in the summer warmest and winter coldest days of years were established. The rates of freezing and thawing, the depth of freezing were determined. A comparative analysis of changes in air, the pavement and subgrade temperatures has been carried out.
