ABSTRACT
This research aims to explain: 1) the influence of the quality of work life on work engagement of the civil servants in BBPPMPV BOE Malang Indonesia; 2) the role of job satisfaction in the correlation between quality of work life and work engagement of employee. This research is a quantitative study with descriptive and explanatory research design. The number of research samples is 154 people selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. The data analysis technique used in this research is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the research showed that: (1) quality of work life has positive and significant influence on the work management of employees; (2) job satisfaction acts as a partial mediating variable in the correlation between quality of work life and work engagement. Managerial implication is also presented in this research.
