ABSTRACT

Digitalization of work involves various technologies, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital platforms. Digital technologies, as a whole body of technical and informatics infrastructure to capture and manage data to improve productivity, flexibility, and cost reduction, are giving legitimacy to a new production and consumption regime. The use of these technologies in workspaces is still at an early stage of development, and predictions about their transformative impact on work remain uncertain and contested (Krzywdzinski et al., 2022).
