ABSTRACT

The financial technology (FinTech) industry is one of the financial service innovations that is increasingly popular in today's digital era and technology. The concept of digitizing payments is one of the fastest growing areas in the FinTech industry in Indonesia. FinTech makes purchasing and payment systems more efficient and economical. We analyze the impact of FinTech on poverty reduction; evidence from Indonesia. We conducted data processing from BPS to see how FinTech makes an impact on poverty reduction evidence from Indonesia. The result shows that FinTech lending has a positive impact on poverty reduction.
