ABSTRACT
This paper covers the widening of tunnel boring machine (TBM) bored tunnel on the downline to accommodate the platform for Shitladevi metro station which was carried out by conventional excavation by adopting only mechanical means due to presence of dilapidated buildings above the TBM bored tunnel.
