ABSTRACT
Language development in children is a unique and extraordinary process that greatly influences children's understanding and their style of language. The style of language in each child, which is the result of language development, is also influenced by various factors, which affect the language style of a child. This paper discusses about the learning style used by young selegram Shabira Alula Adnan and how she learned the standard language. The method used in this study is literary study. To answer the objectives of this research, theories related to language development and language style of children are analyzed. Data related to the development and style of language from Shabira Alula Adnan are obtained through social media, from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other online news sources. The data are analyzed by comparing and analyzing theories related to the development and style of language in children, and then compared with the cases faced by Shabira Alula Adnan. The results revealed that the language style used by Shabira Alula Adnan is a combination between two language styles, namely referential language style and expressive language style. The language styles used by Shabira Alula Adnan are influenced by her age, the parenting style in teaching the language, and also her daily environment. The development and styles of language used by Shabira Alula Adnan are affected by many factors, not only because of age but also the parenting style and the daily environment.
