ABSTRACT

In order to improve the quality of education, professional teachers are required to be able to choose and use various types of learning media around them such as student worksheets. On the other hand, mind mapping is one of the learning techniques in form of visual media which is able to help students to understand teaching materials. This study aims to determine the development process and see student responses, all of which were assessed using a questionnaire. This research is development research that adapts the ADDIE model developed by Lee and Owen. There were five main stages in this research consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The product was validated by teams of media and material experts and then was tested in a small group of 10 third-grade students. The post-test scores were declared “very effective” with a total percentage 82,15%. Based on the results of the feasibility and practicality test, the Mind Mapping-based student worksheet for the material properties of objects for third-grade elementary school students was affirmed as very feasible and practical to be applied to third-grade students at UPT SDN 155 Lombok.
