ABSTRACT
This quantitative descriptive study aims to describe the improvement of mathematical communication in students who applied online learning with the TTW method on the Equations and Inequality Linear One Variable material online. The subjects of this research were 15 students of the class online. The data source used is the test questions’ answer sheet, namely pre-test and post-test. This research is divided into three stages, namely, research preparation, research implementation, and data analysis. The researcher hopes for the following achievements: (1) students can reflect pictures into mathematical ideas; (2) students can explain the idea of a situation using written and algebraic methods; (3) students can express everyday events in mathematical language and symbols. The results of research on the application of online TTW learning are excellent (95.15%), and students’ mathematical communication has increased in each indicator and number of questions.
