ABSTRACT

This paper presents a case study for a landslide rehabilitation project comprising in-situ grouted soil nailing and pre-stressed ground anchors for slope stabilization, hybrid Reinforced Earth® structure for widening of existing road, and drainage measures to prevent development of hydrostatic pressure. The project site is located on National Highway 55, Siliguri-Darjeeling Road in the state of West Bengal, India. This paper profiles the completed composite/shored Reinforced Soil structure S2 (102.8m high).
