ABSTRACT
The study explored Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices in Zambia's large construction firms. A survey found community and environmental initiatives to be most common. Benefits included better reputation and customer trust. Challenges identified in the study included limited budget, high cost, and lack of CSR guidelines. To improve CSR, the study suggests mandatory policies, a theoretical framework, and budget allocation for CSR initiatives. Further research could focus on developing a CSR framework and knowledge-based practices.
