ABSTRACT

The construction of tunnel-anchored suspension bridge by using rock slope in mountainous area has significant economic benefits. However, uncertainties in lithology and geological conditions have high risks to the long-term performance of bridges. Based on Xiaochuan Bridge in Xin ‘anjiang, Huangshan City, the research on tunnel anchorage structure is carried out. Using the three-dimensional fast Lagrangian analysis program, the tunnel anchor excavation and the backfill of the anchor plug body are simulated to clarify the stress characteristics and ensure the construction safety. Then, the influence of rock mass parameters on the stability of the bridge is analyzed. Finally, the feasibility of anchor measures to solve the instability risk is evaluated. This study provides an analysis method for the safety risk assessment of the tunnel anchor of the suspension bridge, which can be used as a reference for similar projects.
