ABSTRACT
On August 15, 2022, while addressing the nation on her 75th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about entering the Amrit Kaal (the 25-year period leading to 2047) and called upon citizens to work collectively toward building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by the time the nation celebrates its 100th year of independence. Viksit Bharat is an aspirational vision that seeks to transform India through an inclusive, self-reliant, innovative, and sustainable India.
