ABSTRACT

This book brings together a collection of chapters dedicated to a wide spectrum of topics within the field of neural networks, with a particular focus on real-valued, hypercomplex (including complex and quaternionic), and fuzzy neural networks. The structure of the book has been carefully designed to reflect this diversity, dividing the content into three comprehensive sections: Real-Valued Neural Networks, Complex- and Quaternionic-Valued Neural Networks and Their Applications, and Theoretical Foundations of Computation with Neural Networks, which also incorporates fuzzy modeling approaches. Each section presents contributions written by recognized experts in the respective subfields, ensuring both depth and relevance of the material.
