ABSTRACT
treatment of welded joints with a pulsed electromagnetic field (TPEMF) reduces the level of residual welding stresses. TPEMF during welding increases the efficiency of the weld-ing process (compared to TPEMF after welding) and makes it easier to implement. On the basis of mathematical modeling and experimental studies of magnetic pulse processes, an automated complex for TIG welding has been developed that is compatible with the TPEMF of the weld metal under the conditions of a thermo-deformation welding cycle.
