ABSTRACT
The goal of this chapter is to explore the increasingly important role of information and communication technologies (ICTs) and artificial intelligence (AI) in global collaborations, particularly in the context of medical physics. The following objectives will be addressed:
To describe the use of ICTs for global collaborations
To describe the applications of AI in global collaborations
To suggest minimal requirements for success in global ICT and AI applications
To discuss the applications, barriers, and limitations of ICTs and AI in the global context
To provide recommendations regarding the use of ICTs and AI for enhancing global applications
