ABSTRACT

Case studies from the areas affected by the 2012 Emilia earthquake, reconstructed through the testimonies of the Regional Agency for Reconstruction and the Superintendence for Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the metropolitan city of Bologna and the provinces of Modena, Reggio Emilia and Ferrara, of procedure managers, designers, contractors and restoration companies and representatives of local administrations, who bear witness to the integrated approach to the restoration work following the tragic events of spring 2012.

Ten years after the earthquake, four case studies from the affected area of Emilia are presented as examples of virtuous reconstruction thanks to the testimonies of the Regional Reconstruction Agency and the Superintendence for Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the metropolitan city of Bologna and the provinces of Modena, Reggio Emilia and Ferrara, of procedure managers, planners, contractors, restoration companies and representatives of local administrations who describe how the integrated approach to the restoration work following the tragic events of spring 2012, was an opportunity for discussion and exchange between the parties.
