ABSTRACT
Widespread throughout the country, Italian-style theatres are places of entertainment and culture par excellence. Given their structural and material complexity, these venues are extremely fragile and constantly exposed to risk, with many cases of fire or damage recorded inside historic theatres.
The seismic swarm of 2012 revealed significant structural criticalities within these spaces, making the reconstruction process very complex.
